Comments:
This is some sort of parasol, not sure whether Macrolepiota or Lepiota as I haven't been able to identify it. There was no reddening when cut. There is a picture of an immature specimen which had an almost granular cap surface.

This is the immature specimen before the cap spread causing a breakup of the surface which produces the familiar scales of parasols.

Puzzled by this one. The sticky cap and violet stipe should give me clues but can't figure it out. Probably some sort of cortinarius, reminds me of gomphus genus but really no idea.

Russula species Orangey brown cap with cream gills and white stipe. Gills fairly brittle and no noticeable smell. Striated and slightly peeling cap margin. Flesh white, no discolouration or taste

A Russula, I think it may be R. Lepida due to the flushed stem and gills which are red tinged at the margin. New to this species though so any help welcome.

There were lots of this species on the hill, I think its an Entoloma. The gills were pinkish, the stem fibrillose with a bell shaped cap expanding flat with a distinct umbo.

I found this solitary specimen growing at the edge of a path on the edge of a cricket ground. I first thought I was Cortinarius Violaceus but now suggestions have come in that it is a wood blewitt.

These were growing in a tight cluster with fused stipes at the base.Gills were white with a slight pink tinge. Slightly decurrent and crowded. Stipe was very long more or less equal with a ring which was absent on some. Light tan near the apex darkening to dark brown at the base.

I don’t recognise this one at all. Gills were greyish white with brown patches, forked, crowded and adnexed. No noticeable smell and it had a rooting stipe going about 3cm deep with no ring.

Collybia I think, probably Dryophilla. Extremely deformed specimen with extra inversed cap growing out of the main cap. Stipe was quite woolly near the base, smell was mushroomy and gills were cream coloured and free.

Agaricus Species. Possibly Haemorrhoidarius. 3 Specimens growing together under an oak tree. The flesh reddened when cut, taste and smell mushroomy. Very shaggy cap and stout stem as you can see.

Not sure about these, when I first saw them they looked just like Pleurotus Pulmonarius but then I saw the pores below. Very spongy and damp and a strong spicy mushroomy smell. Spore print whitish.

The suggestion for this species is Postia Ptychogaster (Oligoporus Ptychogaster). Thanks to Tony Wright in Ontario, Canada. I am waiting for further verification in the form of another specimen to fully confirm.
